In her gap year Roxanne held the post of Organ Scholar at Lincoln Cathedral, where she was also Musical Director of the Lincoln Cathedral Chamber Choir. From 2008-2011 she was Organ Scholar at Christ's College, Cambridge, where she read Music, graduating with a first class degree and the prestigious Canon Greville Cooke prize. During her time at Cambridge University, Roxanne accompanied and directed Christ’s College Chapel Choir on three international tours (USA, Europe and Australia) and played for three recordings on the Regent label.

Roxanne is an experienced performer and recitalist on the organ, and has played at Cologne Cathedral (Germany), Strasbourg Cathedral, Montpelier Cathedral (France), Melbourne Cathedral, Newcastle Cathedral (Australia), St Paul's Cathedral (Vermont) and Washington National Cathedral (USA).  In the UK she has performed in cathedrals at Ely, Peterborough, Lincoln, Norwich and given recitals in Leicester, Bedford, Cambridge, and Lincolnshire.  She appeared frequently in concerts while at Cambridge, including directing Handel's Water Music, and a full-scale performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in Cambridge’s University Church.  She held the position of Secretary in the Cambridge Organ Scholars’ Forum. Roxanne has studied organ with Charles Harrison, David Sanger and Colin Walsh, and has attended masterclasses with Jennifer Bate and Stephen Farr.  Roxanne holds the Associateship Diploma of the Royal College of Organists, and is Education and Training Officer for the Royal School of Church Music in Leicestershire.

In 2011 Roxanne moved to Leicester to take up the post of Assistant Organist at St James the Greater, and in 2013 she was additionally appointed Director of Music for the Broughton Astley group of churches.  In March 2013 Roxanne was Musical Director for the Leicester Gilbert & Sullivan Society's critically-acclaimed production of The Yeomen of the Guard at Leicester's Little Theatre.  She is also currently Musical Director of the Leicester University Chamber Choir, and combines a freelance career as a performer with a busy teaching practice based in Aylestone.
